We were out on the Blackwater on the 4th and 5th from about 7 am to 9:30 on both days. On the 4th we caught 2 nice stripers one 25 inches the other 28 plus several in the 16 inch range. Today we landed two stripers one 33 + inches 12 lbs and one smaller one which was released. We hooked up to one that was way bigger than the 33 + one but lost it. Bait seams to be the big problem schools of smaller ones but few nice size bait. We fished with two planer boards and 4 down lines all at the 20 foot mark. We were fishing around the mid 30's channel markers. I understand that there were several large schools in the Craddock Creek area several days ago. Glad to be fishing again instead of just taking boat rides.

Nice job out there and thanks for the report. I saw the same last weekend on the bait. Lots of little stuff.
