Fished a few hours on Saturday and Sunday morning on the Darkside, with my Dad and Son. First time out in a couple months. AT: 61-75 WT: 74.5 started out pulling light line boards and down rods. No luck off the jump. Made a move and found a school sitting at 15’-30’. Dropped 5 downlines in and action was on. Caught 2 and started running low on bait. Called a buddy that had loaded up on bait and was fishing a near by area. He brought bait I put him on fish. I ended up boating 8 and missing several. Had a triple on at one time. It was crazy for a while. Headed back out Sunday found a few fish. Caught one 26” striper and 2 cats. All in all a great couple morning to kick off fall and my son was more than pumped.
