Hello all!
Well the SMSC 2018 Perch Jerk is over, but now it's time to make plans to attend the Fish Fry! I'm not sure if we put a big dent in the white perch population, but we did OK!. We had almost 900 perch turned in! Now we need to eat 'um!
The fish fry and prize drawing will be held rain or shine Saturday Sept 29th from 1 till 3pm at the 4H Center in Wirtz. If you plan on attending (and we hope you are), please, please let us know so we can have plenty of beans and taters to go with the fish and hush-puppies! Please RSVP to me at tiltntrim @ gmail.com or call Rick at 540 774-0328 or call me at 540 871 2196 and let us know how many will be in your party.
SMSC members - I still need volunteers to help with the fish fry. Looking for folks to help on the cooking crew/food team and the site set up/take down crew. Please let me know if you are willing and able to help. We need you!
