Perch Jerkin 7/14

Hit the water Sat. morning to target some white perch.
Looked around a little while and found some perch willing to bite in a cove 15-25 ft. deep around the mountain. I put 35 in boat fast as I could rebait. Had some triples and double hook ups. Think I coulda filled the cooler up. Brought thirty home to fillet for a little fish fry.
Most were around the 8-9" range.
I also caught a young striper in the mix, with extreme care I got it back in the water fast.
I don't recall eating white perch in the passed, so I thought I would give um a try. Next trip I'll give them to the SMSC club.
It was a lot of fun. Take your kids!

Take a rag to unhook those dudes or they will stick the crap out of your kids hands.
