I been trying to find a new brand of line to switch to. I do a lot of striper fishing in the river when they come up in April. What do yall think is the best line to use for casting buck tails and flukes?

I got some of that p-line Tommy. Just gotta wait until spring to try it out. I've heard it was pretty good stuff.

Buzzard, I have used Excel in clear blue fluorescent. for years for fishing the river. The line is reasonably priced, easy to see and spools nicely. I use 12# because I feel it lets the jig travel freely. I will tell you that I personally can catch twice as many fish in the river on mono rather than braid.

Ok thanks yall. I'm gonna put different line on each real and see what I like the best. Now its just a waiting game. Hope to see yall down this way this year. And hopefully it will be some bigger fish this year.
