Got to the bay on Thursday early enough to fish. We landed one 40” cobia (released) and eight drum from 41” to 47”. Next day no love from the cobia. Whacked the drum again catching 8 more. 6 of the 16 were citation size (46” or up). Decided we had used all our good fortune up and headed home Saturday morning. Didn’t get the keeper cobia we wanted but still one heck of a good trip.
