I figured I’d get one started since this will be a concern for a week or so. When I looked at the back of Becky’s yesterday it was high, but just a little murky. Lynville at the bridge looked like it was ready to plant corn. Hardy has a lot of color and flow. Interesting thing there is all of Roanoke’s debris is hung on the bridge construction, blocking the channel. There is a huge mat of trash and wood hung up. Looks like there may be some entire trees in it. Interesting to see when it breaks loose. If it happens after the flow slows down then a lot of that mess is gonna get stuck in limbo in the upper lake area.

I was wondering where all the trash was. Never thought about the bridge.

If only the ramp at Hardy was on the other side of the bridge...........it would be kinda nice to have a trash catcher!

I was kinda thinking the same thing. It sure would be easier to clean up if it could be caught at the bridge right now.

I walked across the lake Saturday, right beside the Hardy bridge, and never got my feet wet. Seriously though, this would be a great time for the Skimmer to come and clean up that mess. We put in at Oak Grove Saturday night and headed down the lake, fished as far down as the state Park. Water was good, nothing floating that we saw and visibility wasn't too bad, maybe 2'- 2 1/2' everywhere we stopped. The backs of the creeks had more color than out toward the main channel, but still wasn't bad. We were bass fishing (club tournament) but the stripers were all over the place. I didn't catch anything big, but you couldn't keep the small ones (18"-20") off my lures, always fun catching them.
