Looking at adding a T bar with three Rod Holders to each side of my boat towards the Stern these will be to run planer boards only what angles would you suggest my thought is 45 for the rear 35 middle 25 front or 45 rear 30 middle 15 front. What do you think the best degree of separation would be

I'd think that the 15deg separation would be about the minimum you'd want for the spread. I like that setup. 45 / 25 / 5 might work, too. You doing the FB holders?

Yeah I am talking to Fish bite about making me a T-bar for each side. I have some now that are 5degree and feel they are a little too low.

Most every thing I find is 2 rod or 4 rod and a single base. I think a base stem on each end would be much better. If you hook up on two stripers at once I feel the single stem on an 18” wide bar wouldn’t be very strong. My thought is Two threaded bases on the gunnel. 2 double end threaded stems that screw in to those. A flat plate that goes on top with holes on each end to slide over the stem. secure it with nuts on the top. 3 drilled and taped holes on the bar for the rod holders.

This is what came with my boat. I think something like this is what your looking for but you might have to make one. I have never seen one for sale. If the centers work to fit your boat your welcome to try it.

That looks to be on a lot bigger scale I am looking to put one of these on the port side and one on the starboard side. Just for pulling 3 planner boards on each side of the boat. here is a picture of the drift master I’m just thinking pulling three planer boards and you would get two Fish-on I would rather have a support on both ends

This triple rod holder would replace the one circled in the picture so if I did a double stem system I would just have to add one base

I see now I was thinking you had the tubes already built in the rails this way you could take it on and off in seconds. I would say most definitely you would want two points of attachment. Just 3 planer boards and bait would put some stress much less two fish.
