Anyone use them? Looking to get a couple of sets of new boards and outcast's site is down. Captains quaters has a bunch of the of the Rednecks, but have never pulled them. Anyone out there use them? They pull as good as outcast?

I have a set of them, they work pretty good. But I don't think they pull as good as Outcast. Dwayne uses Redneck's everywhere, even in the Bay, so they will get the job done. Not sure what Toby is up to, hope he doesn't stop making Outcast.

Outcast are the best hands down. The others are good, but the foam design on one side is the ticket. They'll last a long long time too if you don't step and break the arm off like I've occasionally done. I have 4 sets and wouldn't sell them for double what Toby asks.
I've never used the Redneck boards, but they're exactly like the Striper Addiction boards, which I have used and liked, but they just don't float or pull quite like an Outcast.

I ordered two sets of Outcast planner boards and received them last week so I think Toby is still making them or at least he didn't mention otherwise when I talked to him.

Anyone have Toby's contact info? I would rather go with outcast's as I have heard nothing but good things about them. only reason why i was considering rednecks was because I can get them and Toby's site was down. I might have to ride down to franklin's to see if they have any left but even at that I am still going to need to get a hold of Toby because Im looking for more than 2 sets

I like the the Addictions! Up-side: they can be changed from side to side! Down side: a little heavy & have to replace the releases(i put OR10s on them)! If they wasn't as heavy they would be with the outcast IMO! And I seen the outcast on leebs boat the other day! Bentrod is right about pulling though! The outcast pulls just a little harder because of the foam on one side! But they are both the same materials!
I have ran 15" shad an half ounce weight on them no problem!
The guy that makes them made them for river fishing in TN. It takes a good fish to pull them under! Harder to pull under with two sides may mean a better hook up ratio!
Change side to side on the addictions: simple nut driver!
Btw I looked at all three sets(addiction, rednecks, and outcast) when I got them! I went by the price! Ended up saving maybe 15$ off outcast price by the time I replaced the clips(for 3sets)! I think the rednecks come with a good release but I'm not sure! But they was the same price as the outcast!!
The difference between the two boards would depend on the average size fish you where catching! 20-40lb bay fish I would want the addictions! Around sml with 10lb fish outcast!! All because of size of line and weight of boards!

The phone number that is printed on the side of the Outcast planner board itself is 540 354-7869.

The foam on one side is the ticket because of the way they float when at slow speeds pulling shad. The boards with foam on both sides aren't balanced right and will lay sideways towards the arm (and often flip too) and a big shad will pull the board all over the place and make it a PITA to get it straightened back out. The outcast board sits level in the water..that's the big difference and why it pulls so good. At higher speeds, I doubt you would notice much of a difference between any of the ones mentioned.

Good info guys... Cant wait to put 4 out from the yak this spring. I've never tried it on the yak but should be fun. I get funny looks already with just two downlines. Four planers should draw out some smiles and hopefully a few two-at-time striper hookups
