Don't hurt yourself holding that pig up -- next stop 60lber. that is a great Flathead for the james -- @ citations in 2 categories. nice

But it will have to be next year.....cause its back to SML Stripers for the spring!!!!!!! I'm Very happy with a 50lber for this yr! Thank you again Sir for your kind help with this item on my bucket list!!!!!!!

Nice catches! You use the same tackle as or stripers? I do...... Is it wise? proly not! I'm sure a 90-100 lb cat would totally destroy my gear but i'm not going to spend the money on a separate rod set up at this point. I just consider it Big Cattin on light tackle! Probably the worst part is the amount of lead i'm throwing with the striper rods that are only supposed to handle an oz. or two. But since i'm already sitting on top of the fish its not like I have to do a surf cast to get to the fish, so I have been just lobbing the heavy leads and haven't had any trouble yet.
