Hey guys,
I wonder what are your 3 basic go to setups for lm bass fishing.
I’m still a somewhat beginner at bass fishing and looking for more bass fishing tips and techniques. So it will be better to answer it in detail like what lures and line you use.
Thanks in advance.

I always have a jig tied on, no matter what the season. Usually use 12 or 15# fluoro for open water, 17 or 20# in heavy cover or grass. Next would be a medium running crankbait (something that covers the 8-14' range). 12# fluoro for this rig. Finally, an underspin (12 or 15# fluoro, depending on cover). Depending on time of year and type of forage in the body of water I'm fishing I may have a full size fluke or small size paddle tail swimbait on it. I can cover anywhere in the water column w/ these three baits. I have the ability to search, then fish slow when (if) I find the fish.

my go to rigs are a texas rig(sometimes i use a toothpick to peg it off about a foot or foot and a half up the line) with a watermelon lizzard with a chartruse tail, i almost always have a floating senko or wacky rig setup, chatterbaits are really good baits for me, and i have come to throw swimbaits alot Hope this helps ,Penhook

Planer board with a big shiner or shad behind it. Works every time.

For some reason, I absolutely love to flip and pitch a Texas rigged crawfish in the summer. A Carolina rigged lizard (mostly in spring)and track down minnow or fluke in fall will get action on every trip. I also throw an inline Mepps spinner at various times of the year as well and pretty much everything else in the box if any of those don’t do the trick.

Jig, senko, + other...which usually is a shaky head or texas rigged worm. But I will throw whatever they bite...and often what they won't.
