That's just unreal to see. The lake is down, but only a little less than three feet. Over the years the lake has been down this much or slightly more and I have not seen it look like this. I have launched out of the Hardy ramp with water levels like they are now. I do know that coming out of the Hardy ramp, the water is not as deep as it once was. This has to have been caused by erosion and silt over the years. Hopefully when they close the ramp and start dredging, some of this will be eliminated.

Yeah, thought the ramp was to be closed 12/20 but it was open 12/22 when we were up there. Wondered why they were going to close it right before Christmas when you know they wouldn’t be working anyway...

And my guess is the silt around the marina dock there will get worse over time with the “jetty” extension going in for the new bridge - it will create even more low-flow water right there....
