For about 10% more on the price of the trackers he could have an Alumacraft and a Lund for about 20% more. Both are head and shoulders above the tracker in quality and warranty service, in my opinion. And with an Alumacraft, you aren’t limited to a mercury engine.

Buddy of mine has an 18ft Lund Impact. It rides and fishes nice and comfortable. We use it out on the Potomac river mostly.
