We launched out of Kiptopeke state park. We fished the afternoon of the 17th and all day the 18th. We got nothing -not even a bite. Being hard headed I decided we could figure it out on our own without using a guide. I will say I learned a lot but it took some trial and error and still not sure of a lot of variables. We did mark fish both days which was somewhat encouraging.
It didn't seem like anybody was just wearing em out. Lots of bored looking people only saw one boat catch a fish.
You have no idea how much water is actually up there until you pull away from the ramp and say to yourself "now where the hell do I go?!"
