When you're pulling boards in the bay do you still use your trolling motor and go 1ish mph?

Your speed will depend a lot on the tide or current flow. I try to go with the current most of the time at .5 to 1 mph faster than the current flow. Your trolling motor batteries will suffer when going against the current. The navionics bay chip is worth the money it shows current direction and speed.
