Does anybody know of any local creeks, rivers, or lashes that have chain pickerel?

I was reading up on lake moomaw. I've been trying to get on as many species as possible lately and I've got esox fever right now.

I fished Hearthstone lake up near Harrisonburg for northern pike a few weeks ago but had no luck. I was using my usual musky gear.

Jack fish, the fighting clown. We used to target them around the Augusta river walk on the Savannah. Get some bright neon green spray paint, paint you a rattling rogue, and a double willow leaf spinnerbait. They will travel far and wide to smack one, they also love a bone colored crank bait.
Toothy rascals, If I caught one, Ive caught a thousand.

I've never heard of Connor lake. I'll have to read into it. Thanks for the info! Where the state record LMB was caught....not really a lake..more like a large pond ..No power motors allowed only trolling. Boat ramp is sketchy...bring yourself a nice concealed weapon...
