There is a group of Buggs Island striper anglers starting a new striper club.
The name of the new club is the "North Carolina/Virginia Striper Association".
One of their primary goals is to have a voice in the care and handling of the Buggs Island Lake striper fishery.

October 7th at 5:00 we will be having a club meeting. The meeting will be held at the Vance County Rescue building, 1735 Maynard Street, Henderson, NC. We will have several important people from Virginia there to talk with us about our striper fishery. Membership dues are only $40.00 per household per year. We will be providing a delicious meal (bbq chicken,BBQ and hot dogs.
What we need is desserts and drinks(sweet tea and unsweet, water, or whatever you would like to bring.
We hope to see you and your family there.
