the Roanoke area is nearing 2 in of rain and points south (Franklin Co/Pittsylvania Co) have topped 3 in. in spots. The streams, creeks and rivers should be full and flowing well. If the lake isn't at 793 by the end of the week, AEP has opened the gates.

The "adjusted elevation" (what SML would be if the water used for generation was in SML and not Leesville) is up almost 1/2 a foot since this morning (791.66 right now). They must be generating like crazy today with SML flat to down today. The outflow from Leesville is still reported as 320 cfm. Yes, I know, "reported".
Tyler was telling me that he read the inflow would have to be 1600 cfm avg with outflows at 320 for a few weeks or more to get us back to full pond.....

They are letting Leesville fill some. It's come up well over a foot today with SML holding relatively stable. They'll pull it back into SML this weekend.

Actual level crossed over 792' last night / this morning and the adjusted level has crossed 793 - we'll likely see 793' in the lake this weekend at the latest with the pumpback..... heck, I might have to put some more line on my fishing reels ;D No excuses for not fishing before the M&G now....

Look out here comes the trash a long with the higher water i bet. You're right. Not only from the river, but it'll pick stuff up off the shoreline as it rises.
