Looks like they are finally starting They will be building the bridge first about a year and a half project. Waiting for equipment to arrive to begin .River should be quite a muddy mess.

Where is the new bridge going? When I first heard plans, which was several years ago, I thought it was going to be on the land across the cove from the Hardy ramp. Has anyone seen any plans? I did notice this morning that there are survey stakes along the road.

Bridge is going to the Right of the old one if you are coming from the lake.

Coming down September 24 for 2 weeks. Where can I get info on the bridge work and lane closures?

There won't be any closures.....I don't think. Just delays, there are traffic lights on each side of Hales Ford Bridge. I imagine you won't have to sit too long, it could really tie up traffic in front of Bridgewater Plaza, Capt Quarters, etc.
