Hi all, just a few pics of the summer so far. The stripers have decent around the bridge (Chesapeake Bay Bridge near Annapolis) but the big 'uns usually leave in late May so all we have are the schoolies until late fall. Flounder have been super scarce in the Delaware Bay but I've usually been able to pick up a keeper or two when I go. Now that August is here, I've pulled the boat for mid-season maintenance (oil change, bottom scrub and new anodes). Probably won't put it back in until the water starts cooling off next month. Here's a few from a trip with a few friends: Cape May channel on a friend's boat Home port on the Elk

Thanks for the report Wingnut, my buddy and I are going on his boat this Friday. He launches out of Kent narrows and has been getting his limit every time. We'll have to weed through the small ones to get keepers. I'm looking forward to it. I haven't been in a while. I'll report back later.

Dave and I launched about 5:30 and spent about 2.5 hours catching bait. We started live lining about 8 and spent the next 5.5 hours catching stripers, finally getting our last keeper about 1:30. The fishing was good while the tide was moving but a bit slow during slack tide. Thanks Dave for letting me tag along.
