How did you stand the bugs up at the ponderosa? We tried fishing there last Thursday nite, couldnt stand the bugs, there were zillions and zillions of them, it was down right miserable.... Ended up back down in creek behind magnum, had one big run, set hook on him, big fish, started spooling reel then pop.... Slack lineππππ did catch one about 16" long

Bugs wont to awful bad last night. Cooler weather maybe helped i dunno. I keep a thermacel on the boat at nights also. You flathead fish often hambone. Always looking for fellow catters to share info with on the bw side. Choochoo i heard white perch makes great flathead bait. Never tried it myself but going to be looking into it.

Yeah i go every chance i get.... Catfishing is my passion, and about 90 percent of my fishing on sml is up blackwater arm.

Also love catching them white perch, we've had a ball catching them things the past month. Just got back about an hour ago from chasing after them. Didn't do as good today as we usually do, only caught about 20
