After getting a serious arm and shoulder workout from a total pig walleye beatdown earlier, I opted for some lighter fare in the evening with the fam.
When we arrived, someone (not me) wanted to swim. So we swam and ate a pizza. Then someone else (still not me) wanted to try for a striper, so I rigged up some 3-ways and we set off. We S-turned all over the lower BW without so much as marking anything, and by 7:30 we were looking for perch. We settled on a smaller creek that usually holds some, and they were there but scattered. The water was pretty murky from a lot of boat traffic. By 8:30 we had 20. Nothing real big, and nothing real small. It felt like a skunk compared to a typical day. However, it sure beat sitting at the house.
Looking back, we should have deployed the double dropshot rigs with a small jighead as the weight and been more active with it, pitching and retrieving. But we were lazy and just drifted single droppers in the rod holders.

Nice trip with fam. Now we know who wears the diaper. Hahaha Just kidding, cause I envy those family times you have brother.
So, is the shoulder sore from dragging bait or seating the hook?
