Virginia to Add 12 New Boat Access Sites, Improve 3 Others.
Richmond, VA – Governor Bob McDonnell Monday announced 15 grants totaling $440,900 awarded by the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries to improve boating access to the public waters of Virginia. .

Man, the way government spends money a 10k grant will get you a trail weedeated from the road to the water.

Ramp on SML is not state, APCO is paying for it, completion date is 2014 or so I was told today

Whats the word on the new bridge at hardy? I heard construction should start in 2015 or 16. And the new public ramp is suppose to be were the bridge is now (were the hoodlums fish), still on the bedford side.
Thats all ive heard on it. Anyone heard any more details

The new bridge is suppose to cut the turn out, basically come through hardy parking lot, and shoot straight up the hill towards the store.

Let's just hope that make it big enough for boats with T-Tops that have been extended in height
