Made a trip down to Murrells Inlet for some marsh and inshore fishing. Had a great trip with great weather. Did a lot of fishing by myself and this was the first time fishing the area. Big Daves bait and tackle made sure I was set up and ready to go and gave me all the info and tips I needed. Over the course of the weekend I was able to pull in a few keeper flounder, a cooler full of croaker, a couple reds, and a whole bunch of sheepshead. The jetties at Murrells Inlet was where I found the most fish as well as near the Marsh Walk. Was able to get lots of practice throwing the net catching shrimp, finger mullet, and menhaden. Wish it was that easy for shad here in the lake! The crab around marsh walk were robbing my hooks blind so I bought 2 crab pots and dropped them in the area and saved ourselves a trip to a calabash buffet. Decided to cut the trip short by a day so I could come home and see if I could get on some striper since we are having some cool nights

Great report. That is one of my favorite tidal areas to fish... Have caught an absolute ton of flounder back in those creeks! Gotta love those convicts too, its amazing how soft their bite is.
