My father was fishing out in the main channel near the Boardwalk Saturday night and saw a few fire and rescue boats down at the island in front of Bernard's (Rabbit Island maybe?) around 12:30. He said they had spotlights shining in the water so he did not take that as a good sign. However, I have checked the local news sites and haven't seen anything reported.

I was told brand new boat hit the island so hard it stuck in bank and they had a tug boat pulling on it to get it off but would not budge so they was going to get a Crain on bardge to get it off today

The report that I got was just persons pride hurt no serious injuries. And ya I spoke to a warden that was telling me that it was stuck very bad and wouldn't move at all.

Yeah... them islands are definitely hard to see. They blend in with the water.
You know...maybe they should remove them for the summer??
