Would this reel in a 4000 series be a good one for casting and jigging

I have one I use for bass fishing when fishing a wacky rig. Didn't like 14 lb flouro and got lots of tangles etc. 10 lb flouro on it works well. Max drag is about 15 lbs I'm guessing. I personally would use something a little bit heavier but the thing will cast a mile with a 7' med action rod.

Sure am. Very smooth reel and feels nice but I personally wouldn't use it with confidence on anything bigger than bass. I have one Shimano Socorro 8000 that I use for jigging on a med heavy ugly stick. Its my go to and is an excellent reel for the money
