This was on my FB feed from a group based in Lynchburg. Figured someone here might have an idea:
"Where can you catfish at night and have easy access to river. Im a disabled vet and like to fish at night with the wife."

Well don't know of many place on or around SML that has public bank fishing allowed, but a great place to go catfishing is Staunton river state park, the park is on a point between Staunton and Dan rivers and has public access to both rivers. Very nice place. Cost like $4 a day to enter park. Great place to catch cats

Thanks. A couple other Lynchburg fishermen jumped on that thread and offered ideas.
It's on a Facebook group called Living in Lynchburg if you want to see where they recommended. Campbell county on the James it seems like.
