5/26 night fishing report

Fished last night and it was pretty non-eventful. I'm really only posting because I asked for a lake update before heading out and I feel an obligation to at least provide something in return. We caught several fish, using topwater and just below the surface lures - but the fish were all small. Maybe one that was over 10lbs. Caught the fish off primary points off channel, and no surprise the calmer the location and darker the area the better the results. Overall it was not a good night for night fishing, it was a late night start. There were lots of boats out until after midnight, both fishing and pleasure. The fish we caught didn't even start until 1:30 or so, and at 3:30 am or so it was just not worth it anymore and we headed in.
