Fished around Benards yesterday morning, Xmas tree yesterday eve and fished the dam area this morning. Nothing to show for the effort. No bites this morning. Only had a few pull downs yesterday on down lines.

They ain't biting cause their ears are ringing!! I was out there last night from about 9 till 3. Tried around Bernard's first. Boat traffic was the worst I've ever tried to fish in. And some real stuppies out there as well. Had a boat come crowd us a bit and we were coping with it. We musta looked like we were gonna fight cause some dude with what appeared to be some kind of jet boat with straight exhaust pipes (anybody who was in the area last night heard it) come weaving through the shallow water we were fishing between us. Finally bailed and relocated above state park. No boats or fish to bother us there. Was right peaceful. The guys who make the stocking decisions need to be out there on nights like last night to see the insane fishing pressure this place gets. Go ahead and stock a million, a tenth will make it to 22 inches.

Yeah we went out at 7:30 till dark last eve. The boats we awful. So disrespectful drive right next to you when they could easily go wide. But at least I know how the boat will do in the bay. The worst one happened as we were getting checked by the conservation Police.

Hey guys tried today from the bridge to Crystal Shores 0 hits. Went to Walton creek and fished the left side and 0 hits and marked very few fish . I am very concerned with the fishery here right now. I have only been fishing the lake since 2010 but I see a definite decline in the fish caught. Is anyone catching any? What are the charters doing? I feel bad for anyone who has to make a living on catching fish. Good luck to all and will try again tomorrow.

We were fishing on the south side of the little island at the south end of Bernard's after dark. A boat came through wide open between us and the shoal bouy.
