5/20 eve. Kept the skunk away for the day.

Didn't have much time after my in-laws left after dinner (6 fresh trout my son caught) at 7:45pm but I couldn't stand getting skunked this morning. so I took the wife and both kids out on a short Hail Mary. Wind was brutal so I found a protected bank got two planer floats out the back and was working on a planer board when a float got nailed 30" 12lbs kept the skunk out. Got him back in to grow a little more. Had one more blowup that knocked the bait off and another one ate in half. Called it at dark. Baby girl missed the action while my wife netted.
