Welp didn't get skunked. Fished down by the dam with 97 other boats. Hooked up on our only bite but popped the hook at the boat. Ended up with a 38lber. Hooked in the nose. Only marked scattered fish. Hoping the evening will be better. Am open to suggestions.   |

Glad your dog buddy handled the mishap well.
We were also down there with the crowd but got no bites. I had two grand nieces with me so really wanted to get them a fish. So we moved closer to home in Craddock and picked up one about 26".

Gotcha glad you got one I came down that way and checked out Roberts area his house and stuff yesterday evening around three or four were you down at the dock

Our house is just up the hill from Robert's. I went back out into the creek Sunday evening and quickly caught another 26" fish. I would have stayed out longer but developed some strange and worrisome cardiac arrhythmia which eventually bought me an ambulance ride to Roanoke Memorial and an overnight stay with testing. Nothing serious found and back home late Monday with a new pill to swallow and wearing a portable monitor. So, will be back to the fish soon. Robert needs to get back here since the fish seem to like to follow him around  |

Dang smlranger - hope it turns out to just be a lack of sleep and a bad burrito or something. Smart to get it checked out though - no sense messing around with the ticker....

dude i did the same thing saturday i turned too quick jabbed a poppers trebble hook into my arm had to push it through and cut the barb then pushed it back through
