Has anyone ever seen a belly weighted hook in the 1/32 to 3/32oz range?
Don't go stealing my idea, but I want my small crappie plastics to fall horizontally rather than nose first.

Johnr, swing by Orvis or anywhere that carries fly tying supplies and pick up some lead wire that's made for weighting nymph hooks and make some. Just an idea....Might work.
Well, just thought of this.... Since you pull leadcore, strip some lead out and use that to save a dollar. Just wrap and glue with super glue to stay in place.

Can you make a lead mold for those?

I tried the lead wrap, but it ended up being too bulky in relation to the plastic body size.
I think I may have to use some diy tungsten belly weights and an unweighted hook.
Basically I'm trying to get these things to slide backwards and down after I pop them forward.

Nope, the flying lure. As seen on TV. Pull to you and it glides away on slack line. Ha ha
