We're out pleasure cruising this afternoon and almost everywhere we've stopped between the bridge and grimes has been fish all over the screen. I have no confirmation that they're stripers but based on what we didn't see in the lower lake yesterday...

Well, there were a lot of fish down the lower end of the lake near the dam, in and near Elmo's and in the big water in between. However, they were not cooperative. Today, three of us in separate boats fished those areas and the fish were hiding.
I certainly hope they haven't all headed back upriver so soon.
I lived on the lake for nearly 20 years up until 2015. I was recently looking at fishing photos taken over the years and the striper fishing is certainly not what it used to be.
