Anyone taken their MK power drive in salt water. I go like once a year and was wondering if anyone used theirs in the salt and washed it after use? Any thoughts?

I've used an older freshwater MK in salt and it did well. Have to rinse it soon after using it. If you do it long enough, the salt will eventually win and rust it. Once or twice a year should be fine.

I had one on my old boat that I used in salt once or twice a year. Never noticed any adverse effects. Always rinsed well.
