man, i have yet to catch a SML Smallie...one of these days i guess... Over the years, most of the smallies I've caught have been in the lower part of the lake (rocky points, mountain walls & Islands) Of course, they are everywhere in the lake, but when bass fishing, I always did better in the lower part. My most productive lures were white buzz baits, chartreuse little george's, and brown and black jigs with a brown claw trailer (Uncle Josh pork rind)

man, i have yet to catch a SML Smallie...one of these days i guess... they told me torwads the dam was better for smallies and to use bright lures like firetiger,chartruse pearl, or something in that catagory and the last time we were up there dad caught a smallie little over a pound on a watermelon lizzard and lost one on on a cottoncandy french fry worm

all my fishing occurs in the lower lake. never fished any of the islands though. have fished the mountain walls though...

i usually fish craddock creek. and over by the dam and cedar keys when i can convince my uncle to take his boat out.
