On the water by 7am and decided to try my hand at finding these blackwater crappie I've been hearing about. Hit a bunch of brush piles and lay downs around b26-b30. Can't give much info about depth or temp as I was fishing out of this: She looks pretty good for 50 years old! Caught a bunch of fish, the bigger crappie seem to still be deeper while the smaller are up really shallow. All fish caught on 2" jigs.

My dad always told us Boston Whalers were the Cadillac of boats. First boat we ever had. Learned how to fish, ski, and even barefoot ski off that thing. We got a lot of looks from people at lake Moo Maw, two pre teens barefooting down the lake behind a 17' Boston Whaler.
Nice slabs.

It's a nice change of pace when I don't feel like getting the deck boat out.
