I brought the boat home from the lake to install a T-top and some lighting. I am looking to install a front and rear led spreader light on the t-top. these will be brighter for rigging and working. I would like some advice on interior lighting. As of now my boat has 2 dim courtesy lights on each side of the console and at night it lights up next to nothing. What have you guys done and found you like? What colors are the best for vision and bugs? Also I would like to add a light under water off the stern for bait what do you recommend? Thanks for the help.

Would not suggest moving the boat on the water with them on as you can't see anything in the dark. Got mine for $14 each on Amazon. SS brackets and powder coated in white. When they stop working no biggie replacing them at that price.

Ditto on those - had them on my last boat and was happy with them. However, they will attract plenty of bugs so plan accordingly for summer-time night fishing.

Interior lighting.... Go with red. I had blue... Hated them. I now have red and love them.
I also have very bright underwater lights and am convinced they scare away mongos. They do attract ales okay but not as good as all the existing lights around SML. Frankly, my underwater lights have been my biggest waste of money on my boat. And trust me, I am good at buying worthless junk!

One easy thing is to switch existing lighting to led bulbs. I did my courtesy, dome and anchor light and they where much brighter. They are direct replacement for existing bulbs and I believe you can order them in colors. Make sure you check some come in different configurations Led on sides or led on front. I made that mistake on dome light they are not like a regular incandescent which emits light 360 degrees
