4/14/17 crappies

I tried for crappies from around 11-12 today, with the intention of catching enough for dinner. I headed to a brushpile that I'd recently found on a sharp drop off just out from a dock. I marked a couple on it and ended up catching a dozen 10-15" between it and the dock all on jigs. Casting the 1/32 jigs past the pile and letting it swing back to the boat was all it took. I ended up bringing 5 of them home and dressing them in cornmeal jackets. They were good.
