I popped a shear pin this afternoon at the lake. All that power from the fresh new batteries i guess...haha. anyways I'm trying to figure out which pins to order. Is it one standard size up to 70lb thrust?

I would Google the serial # and model # and should list sites for part #'s. Minn Kota has a site that breaks down the model #'s with diagrams and everything. Funny you should mention new batteries. When I installed my new battery, I sheared my pin. Found the number and purchased three at reasonable price on ebay.

Minnkota customer service would be my choice. They are usually quick and good.

Amazon and eBay both have them - keep a couple extra onboard.
