Does anybody like to use senkos?

When I float the rivers I always have a senko wacky rigged with no weight. Let it slow drift to the bottom. I lay the hook on the senko and use a black zip tie around the middle of the body and hook. This saves the senko from getting ripped off.

I'm with Bushwacker - I use them wacky rigged. I'll sometimes use a weighted wacky hook when fishing deeper water or sharp breaks. If you haven't tried the Yamamoto d-shads yet you're missing something.

i like to use them texas rigged but ive wackied a few times and i do alot of weightless

what would you say would be the best bass bait on sml?

thats a tough question, i don't think i can really say. sometimes it just depends on the conditions for that given day. i don't know about best, but i can say i have probably caught more bass on the rage tail baby craws in summer craw color than any other artificial i've used on the lake. i texas rig it on a 1/0 or 2/0 gamakatsu offset worm hook, up to you whether to use EWG or not. also, i fish it weightless mostly depending on conditions. also, i only fish it around the dock while im on the dock. something about that slow fall that bass just love to swoop in and grab it...rage tail makes some great baits if you havent tried them.

i used a senko with fish tail on a shakey head and they seemed to like it in the pond i was at

its hard to go wrong with the baby bass color for senkos, my best producing color by far
