I have a Fishmaster....we can get together at the lake sometime and you can check it out. Do you fold it down to store it. I am hoping to be able to fold the top and still use my boat cover.

I do fold it down to store it....however on my boat it does not fold flat as the pontoon seats in front are in the way. Not sure if it would fold flat enough on your boat to not obstruct the cover.
Folding it up and down is not terribly difficult and with 2 people it only takes 2 or 3 minutes.

Does anyone have experience with a fish master T top. I was originally looking at the styker but to get the styker that's fold down is it least $500 more expensive then the Fish master and I believe the Fish Masters top may be a little bit bigger as well to provide more coverage Put a fish master on my Parker some years back. It's a decent top but not as much coverage as I would have liked. It folds down but I never needed it to. Its a pain to install without scratching the pipes. Definitely get at least one helper for that. Personally I feel striker makes a better product. You have to make sure the supports will allow you to access side portals on the console. Stryker was too restrictive so I went with the fishmaster. Turns out you get the fishmaster calendar which more than made up for the poorer quality 😎 Oh yeah one more thing. Not sure about the Stryker but the FM has joints in the uprights which prevents you from cleanly running wires up to the top. Bottom line is when dropping a grand get what you really want/like.

Or take it to a shop that makes custom tops. I highly recommend Modlin's Welding in Farmville, NC. A good drive from SML I know but he's too notch.

Hey Arch - they have cleaned up the wiring issue a bit and the wires on my T-Top now run cleanly.
That being said these Fishmasters are somewhat of a one-size fits all and a custom T-Top might be a bit better way to go - just not sure if you pay extra for custom etc.

I am back and forth on the fishmaster and styker. KB has a styker and coheasion a fishmaster. I am gonna try and look at both. I really want a black one and styker has that option. My deck is pretty open towards the bow so I am hoping either will fold flat enough to use my boat cover. The Styker is right at $400 more but both are $1450-$1850 with nine rod rocket launchers. I don't think I can get close to that price with a custom shop and I'll have to drive at least 3 hours minimum to get to a custom shop plus leave the boat a week and go back.

Call both and let them compete for your business. They hate to lose to one another.

One email to styker and they have dropped from $1850 to $1550 shipped. Styker advertises as being true 2" tubing where Fishmaster is 1.9". The fishmaster is 75lbs and the styker is 108. so really comes down to which style I prefer. I am leaning more towards the Styker because it's a little beefier and I can get it in black.

Ok so I didn't wait to compare the tops. Pulled the trigger on the stryker SG600 powder coated black with the 9 rod rocket launcher and 2 boxes of the quick releases. They knocked off $400 so I couldn't turn it down. Should be here in a week.

Just as a note when you first go out with the new T-top. Remember your rods and anything you may have up in the rod holders up top when going under 122 and Hardy Road bridges!!! 122 should be generally OK unless you have 8' rods and the water is high.

You'll scrape up some rods it's all part of the deal. Going forward presents Less of a problem than backing up while under said bridge or one particular boat lift on Grimes
