I am, of course, new to the forum.   I have been reading all of the great information on here for a couple of days and I am very impressed at how well everyone shares pertinent information.  Thank you for having such a great forum and sharing this info.  Hopefully I will have something worthwhile to add along the way. I have been striper fishing for 30plus years.   Most of that time has been spent chucking plugs to the bank at night in the Spring.  I took the plunge a couple years back and started using live bait, planer boards, down lines, etc....    My wallet and I havent been the same since.  LOL   I find myself daydreaming about fully open cast nets and 8" gizzard shad all the time now.  LOL   I look forward to getting to know everyone here and sharing stories and info.  Hope everyone has tight lines and a great day!

Welcome to the Lake. 8"shad are what I dream about as well. I am a newbe to the cast net. Then you have Mward, Yam and Bendrod making 12"-15" shad, Pancakes for Breakfast, lunch and dinner a reality.

I hope to be there next week. Maybe Wednesday. I also have a week of camping and fishing planned towards the end of April. I'll be staying at Arrowhead Campground and they have wifi. I should be able to give daily info with results.
