I want to install a washdown hose and pump on PrimeTime. I haven't found a storage container for 25 foot of hose that fits flush to the cc. Anyone know where I can get one? Also, I leave the boat in the water. Is there anyway to drain the water in the washdown unit so that it will not freeze without pulling the boat out? Thanks

Primetime - I had a washdown hose on my old boat that didnt work so well and I wasnt very happy with it.
However - my new boat came with one that is an incredible upgrade over the old one and it drains as well - at least the pump does but I also raise my boat on a lift each night so I dont know if it still would if you left it in the water.
I will get the information for you on the type of pump it is.
Also - I changed out the original coiled plastic hose for one of the shrinking hoses and it really made a difference in overall performance as well....not sure how/why it would do that, but it did.

What if I installed a shut off valve between the water source and pump. Cut the water off to the pump and run the pump to remove all the water. Do any of you think this would remove the water in the washdown unit?
