Any body been catching any crappie in the brush /trees yet ?

I haven't yet. Been checking a couple times lately. Friend of mine was getting them 18' deep on or near brush today on minnows.

Went out today and caught them pretty good right up on the bank in brush. Boated around 30 I would say. All caught on jigs

We was fishing blackwater side, thats all i fish, in my many years of fishing think I've been on roanoke side maybe 3 times
