Are the bass biting large or small mouth if so what on and where at on the lake?

Yes and all over and depends on the day. Sound kinda vague? Well thats the answer to all those questions all the time on every body of water for every species. Get on the water and give it a shot, thats the best advice.

Jerkbaits with long pauses and subtle jerks, jigs fished super slow, swimbait, shakey head. The common theme is slooooow

you think they would bite a texas rig or carolina rig with a senko

Yep carolina rigs are good in the spring. I usually opt for a lizard or a rage craw though over a senko

Spent years fishing bass tournaments...Flintster was right on his first response. Stick with jerkbaits and jigs fished SLOW when water is less than 55. Once you get to 55 you can start going with the lizards, Carolina rig if you're trying to cover more water. Texas if your targeting cover. With the water as clear as it has been go with something like watermelon on the rigs (after 55 degrees. jigs try black or brown with blue trailer. Don't be afraid to throw a white jig and swim it a bit (slowly). Feel free to PM me if I can help any. good luck!
