Made a quick trip to the new river near Hinton WV. fished late afternoon up to dark, caught 27 small-mouth on green pumpkin tubes. Nothing big just needed to get out and fish a little while.

Jet boat!! that is a good question. I have fished the new river for 30 years and have not seen a jet boat while i was fishing. Not saying you can't would be a great way to cover a lot of water.
google jet boats on the new river, some people are using them wish i could offer more sorry!

No i'm sorry, I fish 2 different ways on the new river. One is in personal pontoon ODC-816 thats if i'm planing an all day trip. we will drop off a vehicle down stream, drive up and float back to the other truck. I also enjoy wade fishing especially when its really hot like the other day.

Tons of guys fish the New in a jet. There is no place you cannot fish on the New with a jet. I've seen guys coming up WOT through ankle deep rock gardens. Then again, as a dedicated jet guy will tell ya, he's got no choice but to keep it WOT. It'd be nice but ya don't need it. Tons of wading opps, a jon with a trolling motor will work great, a prop will work great, and a simple drift with a shuttle truck down the river will work great. All's what you're into. We haven't been seeing nearly as many bigger fish the past 2 years as before. Don't know what's up with that.
