The dark side was very dark with mud. Water was 45-47. Started the morning where we caught fish a few weeks ago. Water was really dark so we didn't have high hope. Lots of nervous bait but no takers. Moved around a few times but only ended with two bites in the morning. Nothing connected. FREEZING cold in the morning.
The afternoon we moved down lake to clean clear water. Few bites and a nice large mouth. Moved back into slightly less clear water - little action there. Lost one little one at the boat.
Hundreds of gulls. All sitting.
SKUNKED.
free lined planer boards. Couple weighted floats. Most bites on boards. Dollar bill/money maker shad.
