Little tired to post the full report tonight, but here's a little tease from today..we found us a pretty good little school all to ourselves. Dewayne came over just as we had this melee start. Right after I turned the camera off, a fourth fish hit. We got em all in! That wasn't the most we had on or got into the boat at once either!

I can't sleep..sitting here thinking about when I can get to the bay again! Might as well do this report. Alright, Saturday we won't discuss. I don't know what kind of curse we had on us, but things didn't go well. Sunday we hit McDonalds and met Don (Yellowdog) at the ramp about 645ish..probably in the water at least by 7am. We rode out to a different area and made our first drift. From there I will say we pretty much caught fish all morning until we quit around 1-130pm to come home. The best part was we were all alone until Dewayne came over to join us..the other 2786 boats left us alone! The weights were as follows, 46, 44, 43, 42, 40, 40, 40, 38, 38, 38, 36, 35, 34, 32, 31, 29, 27, 26, 26, 26, 25, 24, 24, and an 18lber that was jigged up. We caught 24 fish with 11 being citations and totaling 802lbs of striper for the morning. It was insane! I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story. It's a lot so bare with me...I cut out a bunch! Don has some more I think! Check out the rainbow! Don with a 40! There was a 34, 35, and 18 laying in the floor with this picture..haha Just after that 5 fish melee, we got a 4 citation melee..all studs there.. Don with a 40 46 for Yellowdog! We wore Yellowdog out! Headed in! Lunch was good too! Headed home by 3pm! This was a familiar sight! Gas is the killer! Home safe!

I've hunted and fished alot in my years and I want to say you get days like yesterday few and far between. It was my best day ever striper fishing and a new personal best at 46 lbs. Gotta say thanks again to Tyler for letting me hop on his boat for the trip. I had a blast. It was so good, I think I actually have a picture of Tyler smiling! I'll post some more pics later. Thanks again, Tyler!

What a trip! Here's few pics. Now for those of you that read Tyler's reports here on his SML fishing, you know he doesn't smile often in his photos, so I really wanted to a pic of him smilling this trip. I figured if didnt smile yesterday, he never would...... Now I realize these aren't the "mule eating briars" type smiles, but you can see some teeth in there.... Now this here is a bonified smile.......... Here's the Capt performing some surgery on a fish........ They were nailing the eels! Cool pic of a fish with the eel hanging out... And this is the real deal smile! A great trip!

Yeah I smile occasionally. Usually don't get too excited over 10lbers but this was definitely an awesome experience!
Almost forgot, gotta thank Mward for loaning out his trailer for our trip! It fell apart last weekend with his heavy boat, but it dominated my lighter skiff. It was like there wasn't even a boat back there. I want a tandem! Thanks Mward!

Fantastic report, sure does make it hard on those of us back home though. I'm with BigJon, I think Tyler's pics are Photoshopped. ;D
