What do y'all think of the hummingbird helix 10 si. Thinking of getting one. Where would be the best place to mount the transducer on an 18 foot pontoon. All opinions welcome.

Not sure on unit as I've not had one but as far as where to mount transducer most pontoon boats have tabs welded on to the back side of toon. That's where I put mine when I had a toon and as well where I mounted my dad's. Hope this helps
