Havent chased any green fish since mid-October and had the itch. Weather was fridgid to say the least with low 30s most of the day along with a stiff breeze. Fished near Hales Ford from 9am to 6pm and found wayer temps go from 51-53. With the wind being an issue I found it hard to fish the pattern I though would be best (deep brush) so I ended up trying a few different baits. Landed the first fish about 1030 on a slow rolled spinnerbait around a lay down in about 8ft of water. After that lone bass I spent 4 hours experimenting and moving around to find some relief from the wind. Finally was able to tie off to a dock near some deep brush and quickly landed 2 more fish from 12ft of water on a t-rig worm. The wind and cold finally drove me off the water but it felt good to get out and find a few.
